Iced Lavender Matcha Latte
If you enjoy floral café-style drinks, this Iced Lavender Matcha Latte is a beautiful recipe to make at home. It combines smooth matcha and oat milk with a creamy lavender cold foam for a refreshing drink that feels light, elegant, and perfect for spring or summer. The subtle lavender flavor adds a soft floral note without overpowering the matcha.
Ingredients
For the matcha base
-
2–3 tsp sweetened matcha powder
-
2 oz (60 ml) warm water
-
8 oz (240 ml) oat milk
-
Ice
For the lavender cold foam
-
3 tbsp heavy whipping cream
-
2 tbsp 2% milk
-
1 tbsp lavender syrup
-
1/2 tbsp vanilla syrup
Optional garnish
-
A pinch of food-grade dried lavender flowers
-
Or a tiny drop of purple food coloring for a soft cloud effect
Instructions
1. Prepare the matcha base
Whisk or shake the matcha powder with warm water until smooth. Pour into a glass with the oat milk and stir well.
2. Make the lavender cold foam
In a small container, combine the heavy whipping cream, 2% milk, lavender syrup, and vanilla syrup. Use an electric milk frother to whip for 15 to 20 seconds until thick and fluffy.
3. Assemble the drink
Fill a serving glass with ice, then pour in the matcha mixture. Gently top with the lavender cold foam.
4. Finish and serve
Sprinkle with dried lavender if desired and serve immediately.
Pro Tip
For the best layered look, chill the cold foam mixture before whipping. A colder foam whips up thicker and helps create a cleaner gradient over the iced matcha.
