This matcha set was a good value. The ceramic feels incredible, and the glaze on it is so smooth that the chasen just glides along the bottom of the bowl as I whisk the matcha. The set itself comes with a matcha scoop,chasen, chasen holder, sieve, the matcha bowl itself. The ceramic of the set is a beautiful white with cat designs on it. It was printed very well because you don't even feel it and it seems like it won't lose any color, even after a long time. The bowl itself looks great and is a pretty big size, so you can whisk without losing any matcha. The matcha was delicious and I'd highly recommend this set to anyone look for a solid durable but still beautiful matcha set.

This is a very, VERY thorough matcha kit; not only does it come with everything you could need short of 170°F water and matcha powder, but it also includes recipes you can try beyond simple matcha. The quality of the ceramics in this kit are quite high; holding this matcha bowl is reminiscent of the quality of old Pfaltzcraft dinner service sets. It also gives you step by step instructions on how to best care for your chasen, which I like for beginners. The black cat and strawberries set is exactly as pictured, colors and all; I selected this set because I have a black cat named Bhageera that gets into *everything* like a little kid, even fruits and vegetables. One day, even when he's long gone and likely reincarnated elsewhere, I'll always have the memories attached to this cup to smile about.
